A unique place

Welcome to our quirky,  comfortable, working bungalow, with a backyard smallholding comprising of free range ducks and chickens. You will receive a warm and friendly greeting from Lisa and Gos. We have caged parrots in our private sitting room and our free range cat. Your pets are welcome to join you on your break here at an additional cost of £5 per animal, per night. The bungalow dates back to 1925 and has kept many of the original features, including tiled and wooden floors. We are unable to allow electric vehicles to be charged at our property. Potter Heigham is set in the heart of Norfolk Broads National park, which makes it perfect for nature lovers.

Our Sunroom

This is our Sunroom where guests enjoy their breakfast. The patio doors open into the garden where our free range ducks and chickens live. There is seating outside if guests wish to sit out and enjoy watching our pets or looking over the field to see if deer, owls or birds of prey can be spotted.

Small gallery

The long picture is part of Bacton/Witton woods which is not far from us. It has some lovely walks that vary in length, from 1 mile up to 5 miles. There are seats round the woods to have a rest or picnic.

The second picture is of all our animals. 3 parrots which are in cages, in our private area, our ducks and chickens which are free range. Harry the cat, who roams free and spends his time in the field.

The last picture is of various places of interest. How Hill Nature reserve. One of the closer beaches at Happisburgh. The wonderful Norfolk Broads. Historical Norwich Castle and BeWILDerwood adventure park.

Testimonials

Laid back relaxed weekend.

Lisa & Gos were fantastic hosts, helped us out with great information about the area & most of Norfolk to be honest 😂 (the fish & chips at the Sherringham trawler were amazing Lisa thanks 👍😊) The breakfast was gorgeous, freshest eggs you’ll ever taste, will definitely be staying at Littleholme again, anyone who’s an animal lover will love it 👍 thanks again Lisa, Gos, see you again soon. Quirky but a lovely little place, made us feel at home which was really nice, and there’s a lovely one eyed cat so what more do you want 😂

Friendly, but fairly basic accomodation at a low cost.

Friendly people, clean room, lovely breakfast, tea availability with real mugs and milk in the room.
The bathroom (sole use for the room) is located down the main hallway of the house and is on the small side - though it was very clean and toiletries had been provided as well as fluffy towels.

Quiet, great value

I cannot fault this B&B at all. It’s almost like having an annexe rather than being in a house. Attentive owners Lisa and Gos that do not enforce draconian measures you see at some locations. They allow dogs and have fair and simple rules….. like no parties (unless they are invited)

Honestly a perfect place in a rural village but with nearby amenities. We WILL be back , unless I hide under the bed so I can stay here forever!!!

Pubs, well stocked shop another facilities nearby.

A comfortable overnight stay

The breakfast was outstanding ,with obvously local produce,so to make the most of this meal , eat a light evening meal the night before. The hosts were friendly but not overpowering, and their pets add to the homely feel, which was a pleasant alternative to hotels etc.Their local knowledge was useful for evening meal sites , I can recommend this property ,and would stay there again. Many thanks
I enjoyed the whole experience with the hosts ,and their pets, the double bedroom of the two used for guests looked into their garage ,so a screen covered the window from the garage,so there was no natural light or fresh air, however it,s in the advert, and did,nt deter from our stay.,
